Salon industry experience is a definite plus, but we’re looking for anyone who is enthusiastic about learning the Maria’s Waxing & Sugaring Studios franchise system and taking excellent care of their customers. We are seeking financially qualified people who are ready to build a business of their own, who will follow our system and leverage all the benefits that come from owning an outstanding waxing and sugaring studio with a sophisticated brand.

We are excited to welcome you, your operating partner, and lead licensed aesthetician to train with us at our corporate location for up to four days, followed by our team joining you for three more days when you are ready to open your studio. We will always be available via phone and email when you need us, and you will have exclusive access to our confidential operations manual, from the moment you are selected to own a waxing franchise with Maria’s Waxing & Sugaring Studios.

The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $300,000 to $420,000. This includes a $45,000 initial franchise fee for a single territory agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

We collect a 6% royalty fee based on your weekly gross revenues. Fees such as this allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of techniques and procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and system upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Franchise owners will contribute up to 3% of gross revenues into the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Maria’s Waxing & Sugaring Studios brand and cover the creative costs to develop brand marketing materials and campaigns. Franchisees will also be required to spend at least $1,500/month on local marketing in their protected territories, and a minimum of $15,000 to promote their Grand Opening.

The initial term of your agreement is five years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.

It is not necessary. MWSS is seeking franchise owners who are energetic, financially stable team players with a desire to own their own business, a love for customer service and a good work ethic.

Hard-wax is a strip-less hair removal wax with a thicker and creamier formulation which is perfect for course hairs, first time waxers, and maintenance. There is less clean up afterwards.

Sugaring is an all natural sugar paste made of (Sugar, Lemon , and Water) no strips needed for hair removal, cleans up easily, lasts longer, also decreases in-grown hairs due to the way the hair is pulled from the bulb in same direction of hair growth, improves tone and texture, does not burn the skin, no cross contamination. This can be a much quicker and less painful technique when the hairs are not too long. Both includes warm wipes & vitamin-e/coconut oil.

I would like to inform you that You can still be waxed we simply ask that you wear a Kotex insertion or a cup . If you do decide to cancel your appointment on the day of your appointment it is still considered a cancellation and you will be charged a cancellation fee. We suppose to count over 28 days from the period start day to calculate your next period. Also there are apps like period tracker which can help you track an approximate start day. If you simply don’t care to keep up with your own period start dates you need to book your wax after your period goes off.

You SHOULD NOT shave or trim hair at least 15 days before your appointment. If for any reason you shave or trim hair you will be charged for service and booked for later date.

If you are booked for Full body then decide when you get to location you just want a brazilian. You will still be responsible for all your services you have booked for on the calendar. You will have to pay for full price for your services and rebook for a later date for the rest of your services.

Our policy requests that you give us a 24 hour notice. If not there will be a cancellation fee for your appointment.

Exfoliate. Use ice to sooth redness. Purchase our products for in-grown hairs or the after care kit. Avoid tanning, swimming, and saunas for 24 hours afterwards.

2-4 weeks depending on your personal growth cycle, but it is safe to repeat your wax in 4 to 6 weeks to stay on track.

Every New Hire is trained under Maria’s very own branded precision 12 steps system so we are all supposed to be waxing in unity in regards to our elite & delicate techniques. No one walkins in and just starts waxing so this gives us a higher success rate of returns and trust as the technicians come and learn and grow then go follow their dreams and aspirations. Our job is to consistently train every new hire giving them the same or equal opportunity to grow . All your continued support of the MWSS Brands affords us the on going opportunities to women from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds . Trust Maria as she only grants calendars to estheticians who she feels has mastered the skill set to even work for the MWSS Brand .

Same Day Cancellation/No Show In case of a cancellation, we do require a 24-hour notice to avoid losing your appointment. Same day Cancellations and no shows will result in a $25-100 fee depending on services requested at the time of booking. If for some reason the card on file cannot be charged or does not process, a deposit will be required to reschedule ANY future appointments. After two no-show incidents, your account will be notated, and you will be required to walk in for your appointments or pay 50% of your service total in advance. All walk-in appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

therefore, you will only have a 5-to-8-minute grace period.

If you book an appointment and you do not have an adequate amount of hair to safely wax, you will still be responsible to pay a consultation fee and you will have to reschedule.

We offer one annual courtesy but a repetitive history can cause the location to decline your future bookings and award you with walkins only privileges or require you to pay in full for your next service it’s up to the discretion of that location
